Is Shopping Online As Safe as Traditional Shopping?
June 19, 2006

Well the answer is, “it can be” and sometimes even safer. “Well, I just don’t believe that”, you might say and if you read my article in it’s entirety I will try to explain my stand on this.

First let me tell you a little about my online shopping background. I am an experienced online shopper and yes I have had my credit card information stolen but, believe it or not, it was stolen before I ever used it online. I have been on both sides of the fence also; I have purchased products online and sold products online (both as a storefront and on auction sites). I will be happy to say I have had very few instances where I have been skeptical about purchases I have made online and never has my skepticism outweighed the money I save by shopping online. Below you will find the major points to online shopping safety.

Choosing Birthday and Christmas Gifts for Horse Lovers
June 18, 2006

One of the best ways to choose a gift that will please a recipient, is to consider their greatest interests and loves. Whether it is for Christmas or a birthday, a hobby or interest related gift is likely to be particularly well received, especially if you choose with care, and do your homework. Often, though, the person you are buying for will have an interest you know absolutely nothing about. For example, they may adore horses and go riding every weekend, while you only know about cars. Celebrate That New Home with a Great Housewarming Gift
June 17, 2006

Whether you have a friend or family member who bought a home, or a new neighbor who just moved in next door, a carefully chosen housewarming gift will be a welcome gesture. Flowers, home-baked goods, and gift baskets filled with delicious foods are all great ways to say “good luck” or “hello”.

A bouquet of colorful mums and carnations or spectacular gladiolas is a wonderful way to add a touch of color and life to a new home. Or give the gift of a living rose or azalea bush, a gift the new homeowners can enjoy for years to come.

“Home Shopping” Has New Meaning: Proactive Wardrobe Planning Is Part Of The Big Picture
June 16, 2006

The next time you decide to go shopping for new clothes visit your closet instead. I believe I had a spiritual experience Saturday. Instead of spending a ton of money online or at the mall, I decided to visit my closet.

Shopping online at favorite websites seemed like a fun way to spend Saturday morning. There was a ton of new clothes already in my shopping cart when I had to make a trip to my closet to get a trouser size. The shopping cart had James Perse T-shirts and cargo pants, Vince sweaters and Juicy Couture Bermuda shorts. I was having a ball as I usually do when I find a good sale or bargain.
